The
task of finding the right source of
education is critical to your
success. Not only are there many
ways to acquire a grooming
education, but there are many
differences in the educational
formats.
It's important
for you attend a reputable school of pet grooming,
complete a thorough home study or
find an apprenticeship under a very
capable pet groomer. Selecting a school simply because it is
the one closest to your home can be
a poor decision.
Curriculums vary greatly from school
to school, including home study courses. Review and compare school "catalogs" or brochures from several
institutions. You should have many questions. It's your
responsibility to secure the answers. You can't afford to make the mistake
of enrolling in a
school that cannot meet your educational objectives.
If you are or will be a self-employed
groomer, plan your grooming business management education as
well. There are fantastic experienced pet groomers who have problems with
managing their business because they focused mostly or entirely on
artistic training.
Some schools offer business training in addition to
the art of grooming training. It's a great plus. However we suggest you
