COAT & GROOM TIPS

Some owners desire the whiskers to be clipped, but you should first check with the owner. Use scissors.

Be sure to neaten the appearance of the feet by scissor cutting stray hairs around the foot, and even with the pads as needed.

Thinning shears can be used to remove stray hairs from the feet up to the hock joint.

MORE GROOMING TIPS FOR PROFESSIONALS

Hair on the ears should be left alone other than hair from the ear canal. The outer ear hair provides protection from the elements.

Multi-Breed Books

These books contain little or no breed specific grooming information. They do provide very good to excellent general breed information. Of course, having pictures of the breed is a great help when grooming the breed compared to having nothing else.
