COAT & GROOM TIPS

Use a natural bristle brush once or twice a month and the need for bathing the dog will be minimal under normal conditions.

Don't forget to scissor any long hairs under the feet even with the pads, and trim any other stray hairs around the feet. It is not common on this breed.

To prevent water from entering ears be sure to place cotton balls in the ears. If the pet has white areas using a whitening shampoo or rinse on those areas.

Use scissors to clip whiskers per the owner's wishes.

MORE GROOMING TIPS FOR PROFESSIONALS

This breed doesn't need to bathed often, but use a natural bristle brush with a light amount of coat conditioner to maintain a healthy coat.

Multi-Breed Books

These books contain little or no breed specific grooming information. They do provide very good to excellent general breed information. Of course, having pictures of the breed is a great help when grooming the breed compared to having nothing else.
