Vocational licensing requires
government management.
This topic continues to grow in importance

Groomer certification is voluntary.
It can be a confusing topic for one
reason. Generally, any company can
certify groomers; the act of
certifying doesn't require
government approval although if it
is a school they probably need
approval. What is
required is a strong level of
credibility for the company offering
certification. You must learn to
choose a highly-credible,
highly-recognized company to certify
you if you expect your certification
to impress others and put "gold
stars" on your professional resume.
