Handling Tip

If you are grooming an aggressive dog, remember... many dogs are fear-biters, and you can usually gain their trust with kindness and a calm soft voice, as opposed to force. I even sing to them,or play good soft music in the room. As a specialized groomer, with over 90% of my clients pets being aggressive or hard to handle, I have practiced this daily, and in my 10 years of service I have only been nipped at, less than 5 times, and never severely bitten. Remember, have you ever been afraid for some reason? Would someone yelling at you make you unafraid? I think not.
