Filing Nails with a Dremel

When using a Dremel Tool to file toenails be extremely careful not to let it grab even a few hairs. It's happened before. If the tool grabs even a few hairs it can RIP the skin away from the tissues. It doesn't just cut it open a little bit, it literally will rip/tear it. My advise, stick to filling the old fashioned way. Just with anything we do it may or may not happen to you. For me, it's not even something I want to give a chance of letting it maybe happen. If you are using this method successfully, great! If you find when the dogs drop their heads to see what you are doing and their ears are getting in the way, try using a clothes pin or hair clip to keep the long haired ears away from the tool.
