Scissoring Black Dogs

I have always had a hard time grooming black dogs. I cannot see them. I find myself straining my eyes when scissoring...especially the feet and legs. Placing a white towel on the table, under the dog, helps a great deal. The contrast allows me to see the silhouette of the dog, and makes scissoring the feet and legs, much easier on the eyes.
