My hint is for those little dogs who insist on biting. You want to give them the benefit of the doubt before muzzling, or maybe the dog is just muzzle smart. I found a way around it. You will need two grooming nooses, preferably the type with the locking clips. You will also need a grooming arm on your table. You start as usual, by noosing the little darling. Then you put a second noose on, and then wrap this one turn around the grooming arm and attach this snap back onto the second noose. What you have is a noosed dog with its head pulled towards the arm. It is very hard for it to turn it's head to bite, and even harder to put it's head down. I use this on the little ones before resorting to a muzzle. Thanks for listening! Wendy P. |
