This is little Teddy-Dog owned by an elderly couple in the retirement community across the street from our clinic. I had heard from several of my other clients that live there that there was a sweet little poodle badly in need of a grooming. Neither of the owners are in very good health and find it hard to even get across the street so Teddy just was benignly neglected. After the 4th or 5th time of hearing about him I sent a card with one of my other clients and told her to give it to the owners and let them know that I offer free pick up and deliver for anyone at the retirement community who needs it. Later that week I got the call and went to get Teddy. What a little doll, lovely little baby that wanted to spend all of his time in my arms. He had pretty bad dread-locks all over but no huge tight mats, so with several baths and contionings I was able to blow his coat out enough to get a #3 under it. They wanted a cute little teddy bear face (of course) but shorter cheeks so we went for a sweetheart/doughnut muzzle. And they did not want those "chicken feet". So we ended up looking like this. I will be back to get him next month to keep up his "doggy-do" as they call it.
