Tumbleweed

This is Tumbleweed, formerly known as Poncho. My sister was telling me about a young dog she knew that was being neglected and possibly abused. She mentioned how he was kept in the garage with the lights out most the time and the owners have been trying to get rid of him passively. The thought of this little dog broke my heart so I said I would take him (even though I wasn't looking for another dog). The day came for me to pick him up and he was so friendly yet cowardly. It was apparent that he had not been groomed in a very long time or cared for in hardly any way. As soon as we got home, I took him to my grooming van and started the transformation. He did not use his left rear leg so I was very careful while grooming him. After stripping him with a 10 and giving him a soothing flea bath, he felt and looked much better. I took him to vet and found out his leg had been like that for about 3 months and the femoral head was dying, due to circulation being cut off, probably due to trauma. I saved money for his surgery and now he is on the road to recovery, not to mention being one of the most spoiled dogs, to make up for his previous lack of spoiling of course.
