Baron

This is Baron. I live in a lake community, and our shop commonly sees wet, messy dogs after a good swim. Baron is an "outside" Golden Retriever that has the liberty of swimming whenever he likes. He has been storing up his fur all winter- and swimming in it!! Baron had to be stripped with a #7 pre-bath, and it would barely go through his coat. He had to have 3 baths. Baron then had to be dried for 2 hours and then force dried and coat king'd (loads of undercoat!!) before I could go over him with the #7 two more times! He had chewing gum stuck in his front feet. He had 5-6 ticks on him, a few sores...poor guy seemed to feel cruddy, until I got him finished. Baron started shaking "hands" with everyone that walked by my grooming table as we were finishing. He seemed proud and I was too.
