My name is Heather Fletcher, I am 18 years old. I want to tell you the reasons I want to become a pet groomer. I have been a bather for about a year now, and it is the first job I've ever had where I look forward to going to work. It is a great environment to work in. Every day I fall in love with a different dog or cat. There is always someone to play with. Before I got this job, I worked in an ice cream shop. I hated going to work an serving ice cream all day. People were always in to much of a hurry to worry about being polite to others. But now, for the most part our customers are nice, friendly people. I never even liked dogs before I got my job at VIP (Very Important Pets) but now anytime I see one I get filled with happiness. Every time I get sad, Dogs cheer me up! I know that dog grooming is very hard work, but I believe it is worth all the work and stress to see the beautiful dog when your finished, with bows in its hair, or a bandana around its neck. I want to become a dog groomer for all of these reasons. If for some reason I never do, then I will just be grateful for the wonderful time I spent learning so many interesting things while I worked in a dog grooming shop. Heather
