How-to
Groom Books
Keep in mind that pet
styling changes very little in comparison to hair styling for
people which seems to change every season of every year. You
cannot rely upon new how-to grooming books to come out, indeed
there can be years between releases. We know of none in production
now. Some of these books may be several years old, but we find
just fine with little differences in basic pet styling today. We
are fortunate to still have these books around in an industry
where so few will take the great time and expense to produce a
great how-to pet styling reference book. Note that many groomers
will still disagree on certain grooming instructions for a
particular point, such as how to tip the ears on certain Terrier
breeds. Regardless these books are still good basic references.
There are even more
how-to grooming books now listed in our bookstore here.

"Notes
from the Grooming Table, An All-Breed Guide for the Professional Pet
Stylist is in two words, 'A Masterpiece.'" The professionalism of
its content, design and clear presentation is most impressive. The
artwork is exemplary and adding pages to take notes is a keen idea. The
vast information includes several supplements we've never seen in
how to grooming books before including bathing and drying techniques by coat
types and breeds, and we advise every groomer stylist to read the
scissoring section! We cannot put a value on this reference; it's truly
an invaluable reference for every groomer and stylist of any skill
level. Works like these lift the professional recognition of an industry
for the benefit of every member. Don't hesitate to add this classic to
your grooming library. Bravo Melissa Verplank, CMG." Stephen,

always search for more grooming videos on pet grooming industry
Internet vendor sites, and mail order catalogs. Click
