Brushing
teeth is a popular add-on service for pet
groomers. However, a word of warning. There are experienced
groomers that never provide the service. Records
show that groomers have been involved in cases
where they loosened tooth decay which caused harm,
even death. We have talked with veterinarians that
believe teeth brushing is internal medicine and
therefore outside of pet grooming care. They are
even more adamant about teeth scaling. Just
because someone else is providing this service
doesn't mean it is acceptable.
Let's get started. Refer to your selected
Planner
and find the Dental area of the Grooming Supplies section.
Notice how you can organize your dental needs by filling
in supplier names, product brand names and models, and the
number of units you intend to purchase and their unit
price.
It's that easy. You're organized! Well
done.
Use the resources below to select your
supplies. Manufacturers are listed. Some manufacturers
sell direct to groomers, some don't and instead provide
you with contact info for authorized distributors. Most
online and mail order catalog suppliers are distributors
representing a broad selection of manufacturers.
You need to investigate and we provide
links to popular suppliers below (see Easy 1 Clicks).
