Cashmere Academy of Pet Grooming is a spacious 1800 square foot facility located in the newly renovated Historic Downtown of Melbourne, Florida. Less than one (1) hour from the Orlando International Airport and minutes away from Melbourne Airport on Florida's Central East Coast. Students will be in close proximity to available housing, beaches, malls, grocery stores and quaint specialty shops!

The philosophy of Cashmere Academy of Pet Grooming is to prepare our students for a new career, or continue their education in the creative and ever changing world of pet grooming and styling! A serious academy to prepare our students to be the best that they can be in a profession that will allow them to express themselves and their love for animals.

ACADEMY OBJECTIVE

The object of the programs offered at Cashmere Academy of Pet Grooming is to prepare the student to enter into Professional Pet Grooming. All aspects of what we are teaching relate directly to this specific goal.

OUR FACILITY

The Academy is a spacious 1800 square feet and contains several different areas:

• FRONT LOBBY / RETAIL AREA
The Academy operates a pet grooming salon and spa which is open to the public. All students learn about Greeting Customers, understanding pet needs, educating the customers and will learn how to suggest needed services and items. We also have an aromatherapy mist and soft music to enhance our "spa" atmosphere.

• GROOMING AREA
We offer a spacious and clutter free state of the art grooming area. Our grooming tables are hydraulic Forever Stainless. Our stand dryers are Oster "quiet".

• BATHING / DRYING AREA
We also have Forever Stainless tubs in the bathing area, complete with large dog ramp and comfort mats for pets and students.

•CAGE AREA
Our customers’ pets are housed in a separate cage area in beautiful Banks of Clark cages.

• SEMINAR / LIBRARY AREA
The Library and Library resources are available to students during regular school hours.
