About Pennsylvania Academy of Pet Grooming

Our philosophy is to encourage our students to recognize the ability for excellence and creativity within themselves. It is our goal to pass on to our students the knowledge of pet grooming that we have acquired through many years of hard work, experience and study. At the same time, we encourage our students to examine the possibilities, use their creativity to expand this industry that is in its infancy and realize that the possibilities are unlimited.

With approximately 56 million cats and 52 million dogs in the United States, the professional groomer is in great demand. Professional dog groomers can find employment in grooming salons, kennels, animal shelters, veterinary offices, pet shops, pet suppliers and more. You would also have the opportunity to start your own grooming business and enjoy being your own employer.
