Nash Academy
John is the
founder of the Nash Academy of New Jersey and CEO of
Nash Academy of Kentucky. John has been in the
grooming industry since 1974. He has been a judge
for dog grooming competitions for twenty five years
and is cofounder of IJA, the International Judges
Association for Dog Grooming Competitions, the first
judging association in the industry. He was the 1991
recipient of the Cardinal Crystal Mary Bucklew Award
for Outstanding Service to the Grooming Industry. He
is an active member and past president and vice
president of the Kentucky Association of Career
Colleges and Schools. John is an industry speaker in
the pet care education field.
Vivian Nash, Vice
President of Nash Academy
Vivian is the owner
and Vice President of Nash Academy of Kentucky.
Vivian has been in the grooming industry since 1973.
She is cofounder of the International Judges
Association. She was a bronze, silver, and gold
metal winner at Intergroom and International Groomer
of the Year in 1986. She was the 1991 winner of the
Cardinal Crystal Achievement Award for Judge of the
Year. She has been an international grooming judge
for twenty years. Vivian is an active member of the
Kentucky Association of Career Colleges and Schools
and is a member of the Kentucky State Board for
Proprietary Education, appointed by the Governor.
Vivian is also an active industry speaker in the pet
care education industry.
Joey Villani,
President and Director of Nash Academy of New Jersey
Joey was introduced
to the grooming industry at the age of nine. During
Joey's career, he has worked as an instructor at the
Nash Academy of Animal Arts, been a multiple salon
owner and organized grooming competitions all over
the world. He has had the opportunity to work with
some of the industry's best. Joey now lives in
Cliffside Park, New Jersey, and is the President and
Director of the Nash Academy of Animal Arts New
Jersey. He is one of the top speakers in the
industry and is an active member of the
International Judges Association.
Kathy Rose
Kathy, owner of
Pets of Perfection, since 1983, has gained
recognition as a top winning groomer in the United
States and abroad. Her grooming artistry has earned
her multiple Best in Show and Best All Around
Groomer awards and garnered her a spot on Groom Team
USA for four consecutive years. She has received
eight nominations for the prestigious, Cardinal
Crystal Achievement Awards, winning the award for
outstanding service to the pet industry. Kathy has
gone on to serve as the coordinator of Groom Team
USA, as well as chairperson for Groomers Licensing
Founders Committee. Currently, Kathy serves as the
Team Leader for the International Judges
Association, and Director of online instruction for
Nash Academy, as well as serving as a speaker for
continuing education programs across the country. |
