Mitzi Hicks has worked in all facets of the grooming industry. Her mother started in the grooming business in 1967 and Mitzi worked there from the time she was 12 years old. She graduated from the University of Alabama with a degree in communications. Mitzi opened Golden Paws salon and state licensed school in 1994. She developed several operations including mobile grooming vans. Over the years Mitzi has developed a proprietary step by step training program with an instruction manual and videos. Today Mitzi also works as a consultant assisting pet groomers to open their own school of grooming.
