WAG’N TAILS ANNOUNCES MOBILE GROOMING FOR A CAUSE 2009
WINNER
Denise Davis, Owner of Denise’s Doggie Do’s in Ankeny, Iowa
Is Top Shelter Dog Groomer
Granger, Indiana, November 17, 2009
Wag'n Tails Mobile Conversions, Inc. announced the winner of
the Mobile Grooming for a Cause charity event held during
the month of October, 2009. In conjunction with the ASPCA
and Humane Society “Adopt a Shelter Dog Month”, Wag’n Tails
enlisted a small army of groomers across North America to
see how many shelter dogs could be groomed in order to put
their best paws forward for adoption.
“We all want to express a big thank you to all the Wag'n
Tails pet stylists that contributed their grooming skill to
the first annual Mobile Grooming for a Cause event in
October” said Dennis Gnetz, Wag’n Tails President. “Please
join us in congratulating Denise Davis of Denise's Doggy
Do's for winning the Caribbean trip by grooming the most
shelter pets” Gnetz added.
Wag’n Tails had 82 pet stylists participating this year and
28 reported the number of pets they groomed. Those 28
groomers accounted for 533 pets groomed during Mobile
Grooming for a Cause.
“This is just the first year of an annual event we will be
sponsoring. We fully expect next year and the following ones
will grow exponentially in terms of participating groomers
and pets groomed. We are excited for next year already!”
Gnetz concluded.
Wag’n Tails has awarded Davis a 5 day 4 night Caribbean
vacation for her efforts. “I’m excited to win the vacation
but the greatest feeling is knowing that this will help get
these pets adopted by a loving family. That is the true
reward” commented Davis.
